Draw two curved lines forming the first wire. They should be parallel, but not straight, as shown here.

Add a second set of lines. Make it the mirror image of the first; they should intersect in some points.

Draw an oval covering each of the intersections. They should be relatively thin and horizontal.

Add spikes to the ovals you just drew. Add four or two if you want to make it a double barbed wire.

Add vertical lines to the ovals. Make sure you leave a space between lines, similar to the thickness of the base wires you drew.

Color your drawing. Use grey to mimic metal, or black to make it look like a tattoo.

You can make your barbed wire as long as you want--just make sure that the two wires intersect every once in a while.
